برعاية السيد رئيس جامعة تكريت الاستاذ الدكتور وعد محمود رؤوف وبأشراف كل من السيد عميد كلية هندسة الشرقاط الاستاذ الدكتور خميس خلف حسن والاستاد المساعد الدكتور سياف عبد حسين مدير مركز التعليم المستمر كلية الهندسة/ الشرقاط في جامعة تكريت اقامت ندوة توعوية تثقيفية عن العنف الأسري، أسبابه، آثاره، و علاجه.
‎تناولت الندوة أهم أسباب العنف الاسري، منها فقدان الحوار الأسري والانحرافات الأخلاقية وغياب الوازع الديني فضلا عن التربية الخاطئة.
‎وسلطت الندوة الضوء على الحلول والمعالجات ومن بينها التزام أفراد الأسرة بمبدأ الحق الواجب وضبط السلوك، فضلا عن أهمية دور الجامعات في التثقيف حول مشكلة العنف، وإيجاد الحلول لها.
